Dot Lake Village is located 155 miles southeast of Fairbanks between the communities of Delta Junction and Tok. Our village is a federally recognized native tribe with under 100 full-time residents.
Our village is managed by the Village Council and is a traditional Upper Tanana Athabascan village.
Our Dot Lake school is K-12 and serves residents of the surrounding area, the village also has a medical and behavioral health clinic to serve the area.
Our tribal lands are comprised of over 69-thousand acres of the beautiful Alaskan wilderness with access to the Tanana River.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
TeeJuh Behavioral health is looking for a seasoned LCSW with experience in working with rural native villages in Alaska. Our ideal candidate has experience in working with children, adults and families that have been victims of domestic violence or substance use disorders. Our therapist will be responsible for providing initial evaluations, individual, group, couples and/or family therapy for TeeJuh Behavioral Health program. In addition, LCSW will provide consultation services to primary care providers.

Position Title: Youth coordinator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position takes the lead on OVW youth activities and services to address the needs of children, youth, and young adults who are victims of or are exposed to violence in their homes.
Duties include:
• Develop meaningful partnerships with the Alaska Native Women’s Resource Center, the Fairbanks-based Interior Alaska Center for Non-Violent Living, which provides domestic violence & sexual assault advocacy, and Stevie’s Place which provides child advocacy.
• Organize and implement a series of activities
• Organize special events as outlined in the grant such as cultural camp
• Coordinate the weekly Youth Program, organizing projects, recruiting and coordinating with elders, and buying supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of tribal government administration
• Familiar with budgets and reporting
• Excellent organizational skills
• Computer proficiency
• Familiarity with the traditional political, economic, social, and cultural structure of Dot Lake is essential.
